I’d agree with most of that, Richie. The bit you overlook is that Sullivan doesn’t own the club in its entirety. The club has other debts on which interest is charged. What you’re suggesting will result in other investors benefiting from Sullivan not charging interest on his capital loan,

Might not be happening. I. E Sullivan and his mate won't pass the fit and proper person test

He loaned money to West Ham United PLC. That loan is being repaid with interest. Every single person that goes through a turnstile or buys a program or a replica shirt etc is contributing towards the revenue streams that are being used to repay those loans including the interest on those loans. If the loans were interest free there would either be more money available to buy players/pay players wages and/or the ability to keep fans costs down i.e. ticket prices

Whether it is direct investment or indirect investment via a loan i still don't agree with it and this isn't from an anti-Sullivan point of view.

As i said, if he is such a good businessman there are a whole world of opportunities out there to make money without going anywhere near another football club

Whilst from a purely selfish point of view, that would be great for us - there's also something wrong and demeaning about it.

Whadda ya do.

He’s not investing in Bolton, he is loaning a friend and property business partner money to buy the ground and hotel.

He didn’t charge “US” interest. He charged himself and the other owners.

Spot on, branded. I think it’s going to fall on deaf ears though.

Perhaps he sees it as buying a norther based feeder club. One where we could get youth players in the right catchment areas, bring them along then send them daan sowf! innit!

Re: Sullivan loans Bolton wanderers buyer 25million
True enough it's Sullivan's money, he is a businessman and he can invest his money anywhere he wants. Having said that, there's a whole world of business opportunities out there for him to make money on and personally I don't think that an owner of a football club should be investing their money in another football club, just doesn't seem the right thing to be doing whether that's Sullivan or anyone else.

Riddle, I was just pointing out to you that Sulli became a billionaire through other means than WHU, seeing as you seem utterly clueless on the matter.

As for being fucking deluded pricks, I think it's better to be even handed about these things rather than acting like some jilted girlfriend who won't hear a good word about that nasty man who done them wrong.

Personally I think the Dave's are both cunts and I'd like them gone asap. Don't mean that I'm one of those glory hunting wankers who just want a sugar daddy like Chelsea got.
